Suntalekhola




Suntalekhola is a picturesque tourist spot just 4 km from Samsing, in Dooars, West Bengal. It is a stretch of Sub-montane forest near Neora Valley National Park. The altitude of the place ranges from 650 m to 950 m.

Suntalekhola is a paradise for bird watchers - different species of birds can be spotted here including Pond Heron Black Eagle, Hill Partridge, Red-vented Bulbul, Ashy Wood Pigeon, Bronzed Drongo, White-throated Fantail, Blue Rock Thrush, Scarlet Minivet and Common Green Magpie.

Accommodation facilities are provided by Forest Department of West Bengal. The resorts of Suntalekhola are located amid the natural wild environment.

Suntalekhola is about 75 km from Civil Enclave Bagdogra.
