Sweta Glacier

Sweta Glacier, a beautiful lake, is situated 16 km away from Vasuki Tal in Uttarkashi District. It lies at an elevation of 5,500 m along the Gangotri Glacier-Badrinath trek route. It provides magnificent views of snow-clad peaks all around. Nearby interesting destinations are Suralaya Glacier, Chaturangi Glacier, Bhojbasa, Ghastoli and Gangotri. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport. The nearest railway station is at Rishikesh.
