Lakshman Temple is a small shrine situated in Chamoli District of Uttaranchal. The temple is located five kilometers from Ghangharia. Located near Hemkund Lake, the temple is dedicated to Lakshman, younger brother of Lord Ram. It is believed that Lakshman meditated here before his battle with Indrajit at Lanka. In the battle, Lakshman killed Indrajit, son of Ravana.
