Osla




Osla is a picturesque village situated 14 km from Taluka, in Uttarkashi District. It lies near the Har-Ki-Doon Valley. The village has a carved temple dedicated to Duryodhana. It is said that the people of this village allied themselves with the Kauravas in the battle of Mahabharat. Tons River flows by the village. Nearby tourist destinations are Jaundhar Glacier, Ruinsara Tal (8 km), Bandarpunch Glacier, Govind Wildlife Sanctuary and Sankri. The nearest airport and railway station are at Dehradun.
