Sahjanwa is the headquarters of Sahjanwa development block, situated in
Gorakhpur District of
Uttar Pradesh. It is well connected by road and rail with the district headquarters of
Gorakhpur, which is 20 km east of it. Large-scale industries producing sugar, gunnies, jute strings and oil-coke are located here.
Sahjanwa Railway Station is on the Gorakhpur-
