Manjhanpur




Manjhanpur is the seat of administration of Kaushambi District, Uttar Pradesh. It is an old town situated on the northern bank of Yamuna, 55 km west of Allahabad.

Places of tourist interest include Jain temple at Prabhasgiri (Prabhosa), Durga Devi Temple and Kamasin Devi Temple at Gambheerapurab village. A trip to the historic sites of Kara and Kaushambi will be an interesting option.

Nearest airport is at Lucknow. Sirathu Railway Station serves Manjhanpur. National Highway 2 passes a few kilometers off the town.
