Moti Masjid

Also known as Pearl Mosque



Moti Masjid, also known as Pearl Mosque, is one of the ancient mosques in Agra. It is situated to the right of Diwan-E-Aam of the Agra Fort. The masjid was built between 1646 and 1653 by Shah Jahan for his family members and court chiefs.

The Masjid is made of white marble and used to shine like a pearl once upon a time and hence the name. This mosque is famous for its sheer grandeur and perfect proportions.

Idgah Bus Station and Agra Fort Railway Station are the nearest bus station and railway station. Agra Civil Enclaves, 5 km from Agra, is the nearest airport.
