Idgah Bus Station




Idgah Bus Station is the biggest bus station in Agra, situated near the Agra Cantonment Station, 3 km from Agra Civil Enclaves. Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) operates hi-tech, deluxe, semi-deluxe and ordinary buses to Delhi (every hour), Jaipur (every half an hour), Mathura, Lucknow, Fatehpur Sikri, Gwalior and Jhansi. Buses for Mathura also leave from Agra Fort Bus Stand. Transport corporations of neighbouring states also run regular services to and from Agra City.

Agra City Railway Station (situated to the north of Agra City) and Agra Fort Railway Station (near the Agra Fort) are easily accessible from the bus station.

The major attractions in and around the city include Taj Mahal, Tomb of Itmad-ul-Daulah, Jahangir Palace, Diwan-I-Aam, Diwan-I-Khas, Moti Masjid, Jama Masjid and Dayalbagh Temple. Hotel Clarks Shiraz, Taj View, Agra Ashok and the Trident offer excellent and comfortable accommodation near the bus stand.

Local travel is by means of taxis, tempos, auto-rickshaws and cycle rickshaws. Bicycles can also be hired on hourly basis.
