Agra City Railway Station is one of the six stations in Agra. It is a major railhead under the Northern Railways, situated towards the north of Agra. The important trains passing through this station are Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express. Palace on Wheels, one of the famous luxury trains of the world, also passes through this station. The Central Bus Station, run by Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), is in the city center. Private bus services are available from the station. The main bus terminus Idgah Bus Stand is at a short distance from the station.
