Thuckalay

Thuckalay is a small town situated 16 km north-west of Nagercoil, in Kanyakumari District.

Places of tourist interest in and around the town include the Peer Mohamed Oliyullah Durha, Padmanabhapuram Palace, Kumarakovil (3 km), Mondaikadu Bagavathy Amman Temple and Olakkay Aruvi Water falls.

Nearest airport is at Thiruvananthapuram (65 km). Nagercoil Railway Station is the closest railhead. By road, Thuckalay is linked with Thiruvananthapuram, Nagercoil, Marthanadam and Kanyakumari.
