Pennadam Railway Station

Pennadam Railway Station is on the Chennai-Tiruchirapalli rail route. Rock Fort Express and passenger trains that connect Virudhachalam with Tiruchirapalli are among the main trains that pass through this station. The station is under the administrative control of the Southern Railways.

The station is located about 5 km from Arathuraiappar Temple. To the north of Pennadam is Vridhachalam Junction Railway Station (Virudhachalam Junction Railway Station), the nearest major railhead. Going south, Ariyalur Railway Station is the next main station.
