Ettukkudi




Ettukkudi, one of the major attractions in Nagapattinam District is 30 km from Nagapattinam. The name ‘Ettukkudi’ is derived from the Etti trees which dominated this area. The place is noted for the Murugan temple that finds a place in the hymns of saint Arunagirinathar.

The best time to visit is during the annual festival in the month of Chittirai (mid April – mid May).
