Udaipur District, located in the southern part of Rajasthan
, is surrounded by Rajsamand
districts in the north, Dungarpur District

Average rainfall is 61 cm. The main Kharif crop is maize, which is main staple food of the farmers of this region. Other crops are jawar, bajra, pulses, and sugarcane. Best season to visit is from September - March.
