Jagdish Temple




Jagdish Temple, in Udaipur District of Rajasthan, is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. There are also smaller shrines dedicated to Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, Surya, Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Saraswati, Durga and Lord Vishwakarma. Built by Maharana Jagat Singh I in 1651, it is a fine example of Nagara style of temple. It has 32 stairs and a hall that's double-storey. The temple is easily accessible from Udaipur.
