India | Rajasthan | Gajner

Gajner, situated 32 km south-west of Bikaner, is a little ‘oasis’ in the hot and humid environs of Rajasthan. This small town offers a refreshing retreat from the blazing sun and the energy zapping surroundings. The vast expanses of thick forest, a charming lake and the incomparable Gajner Palace – entices a laid-back tourist to this fairyland.

Preserving all its antiquity and glory, the Gajner palace has been converted into a heritage hotel. The copious wooden fringes around attracts many birds during the winters. Jeep and camel safaris to the wilderness will be an enchanting experience.

Nearest airport is at Jodhpur. Gajner Railway Station is a minor station and the nearest major railhead is Bikaner Junction Railway Station. National Highway 15 passes through Gajner.
