Churu



Churu, the administrative headquarters town of Churu District, is famous for havelis and temples that dot its length and breadth. These structures, with their intricacies of designs and illustrations, tell volumes about its rich cultural and archaeological heritage. Jhunjhunu is around 50 km southeast of Churu.

Places of tourist interest in the town include the Bagla Haveli, Malji Ka Kamra, Kotharion Ki Haveli, Baidon Ki Haveli and the Shantinath Jain temple.

Sanganer Airport is the closest airport (200 km). Churu Junction Railway Station is a major railway station of North-Western Railway. National Highway 11 passes through Churu.
