Rohtang Pass




Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of 4111 m, is situated on the highway to Keylong, Kullu District. It offers commanding views of mountains, glaciers and valleys in the surroundings.

Rohtang Pass is the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti and Pangi Valley, and is open from June to October every year. It forms a perfect base for trekking.

Rohtang Pass has the twin peaks of Geypan to its left. Other scenic views include the Chandra River, which flows down the Lahaul valley.

Located 51 km from Manali, Rohtang can be approached by road and regular buses ply between Manali and Keylong during summer.
