Guava




Guava, also spelt guyava or kuawa, grows mainly in Rangareddy, Krishna, Anantapur, Prakasam, and Guntur districts in Andhra Pradesh. Improved varieties include Allahabad Safeda, Lucknow 49, Safed Jam, Arka, and Mrudula. Guava is a shallow-rooted evergreen bushy shrub growing up to 33 ft. It can be grown in almost all soil textures. They thrive in both humid and dry climates.
