Saptashringi Devi Temple




Saptashringi Devi Temple is located at Vani in Nasik District of Maharashtra. The temple is about 55 km from Nasik.

This beautiful temple is dedicated to Goddess Saptashringi (the seven pinnacled goddess), one of the forms of Shakti. The goddess is depicted with 18 hands, each with a weapon, and a destroyer of evil.

Saptashringi Hill (a mountain with seven peaks), where the temple is situated, is full of a variety of trees having medicinal worth. The story in the epic Ramayana says that Lord Hanuman carried the herbal medicine for wounded Lakshman from this hill.

Niphad Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
