Vani




Vani is a pilgrim town in Nasik District of Maharashtra. It lies on the Dindori-Vansada route and is 55 km north of Nasik – the district headquarters.

The focal point of the place is Saptashringi Devi Temple, which is believed to be one of the 51 Shakti peeths of the country. The shrine is located on a mountain with seven peaks - hence the presiding deity here is known as Saptashringi Nivasini.

Niphad Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. Aurangabad Airport is the nearest airport.
