Sakoli




Sakoli is a taluk headquarters town situated along the National Highway 6, about 17 km east of Lakhna, in Bhandara District. It is 37 km south-east of Bhandara - the district headquarters – and around 12 km from Gond Umri on the other side of the border, in Gondiya District. Chaprala Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhamragarh Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhandara Falls, Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary, Pench National Park, Kukdi Khapa Waterfall, Muktagiri, Kanhen, Mahalakshmi Mandir at Koradi, Ramtek and Ambazari Lake, Sitabuldi Fort and Maharajbagh at Nagpur are interesting one-day excursions from Sakoli. Sonegaon Airport and Bhandara Road Railway Station serve Sakoli.
