Pen

Pen is a taluk headquarters town situated on the National Highway 17, about 32 km south of Panvel, in Raigad District. Mumbai, the commercial capital of India, is 90 km to the north-west.

Karnala Bird Sanctuary, Jambaltupada, Matheran, and Mandwa Beach and Kihim Beach at Alibag are some short excursions outside Pen.

The nearest airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. Pen Railway Station is on the Panvel–Roha line of the Konkan Railways.
