Khar




Khar is a populated region located between Bandra and Santa Cruz, in the western suburbs of Mumbai. The place has one of the largest Sikh populations in the city. Khar is located about 2 km north of Bandra and is at about the same distance from Santa Cruz.

BPM High School is situated at Khar. The shopping destination of Andheri, Juhu Beach, Versova Beach and Bombay Flying Club are nearby.

Khar Road Railway Station is located on the Bandra–Santa Cruz suburban rail route of Western Railways. It is the 13th stop, when going towards Andheri from Church Gate.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is 8 km towards north of Khar. Nearest major railhead is Dadar Central Railway Station, which is 8 km south. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is around 16 km south.
