Hirapur is situated on the banks of the Painganga, right on Yavatmal Districtís south-eastern border with Chandrapur District, in Maharashtra. Hirapur is just a few kilometers from the districtís boundary with Adilabad District of Andhra Pradesh, 6 km south of Mukutban and around 35 km south-east of Bori.
