Malayinkeezhu




Located about 12 km from Thiruvananthapuram, Malayinkeezhu is a small town in Kerala. The prime attraction in the town is the Sree Krishna Temple. An annual festival, which lasts for seven days, draws a number of people from far and near. It culminates with the Aarattu ceremony.

A number of schools, educational institutions, religious centers and shopping centers make the town one of the popular residential and commercial areas in the city. Kattakada, Balaramapuram, Poojapura and Pappanamcode are nearby places.

Neyyar Dam and Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary are easily accessible from Malayinkeezhu.

Malayinkeezhu can be reached form the bus stations at Thiruvananthapuram, Pappanamcode and Kattakada. The nearest major railway station is Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station and the nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport.
