Perumanoor




Perumanoor is an old settlement at the southern tip of Ernakulam, the nerve center of Kochi. The place got its name after 'Perumana', which was a well known Namboothiri Illam once existed there. As per Government records, the place is also known as 'Edaparambathu Palli'.

Thevara is an adjoining residential locale. Perumanoor is around 3 km from the commercial center of M G Road. Bobsun Art Gallery, St George Church and Kochi Gurdwara are the major landmarks of Perumanoor.

Kochi Harbor, Mattancherry Palace and Fort Kochi are easily accessible from here. Veda Nilayam is an ayurvedic treatment center located at nearby Thevara.

Cochin International Airport is 33 km to the north-east. Ernakulam Central Bus Station and South Railway Station are about 3 km from Perumanoor.
