Shivappa Naik Palace




Shivappa Naik Palace is situated on the banks Tunga River, in Shimoga, Karnataka. This 16th century palace was built by Shivappa Naik of Keladi. This architectural marvel built with rose wood.

Shivappa Naik Palace houses a museum which treasures a rich collection of stone carvings and antiques of Keladi period. Other prominent items on display include idols of Hoysala and Chalukyas period from the early 16th century to late 18th century.
