Rusi La Pass, at an altitude of about 4950 m, is in
Kargil District of
Jammu and Kashmir. The pass is on the way to the trekking route between
Sankoo and
Mulbekh. Between the Rusi La and Shafi La passes there is a mixture of Buddhist-Muslim population. The pass is on the way to Mulbekh Valley. From the base of Rusi La, a southward diversion leads to the
Rangdum Pass, from which the Karste River rises. The trekking route to
Suru Valley is across the Rusi La Pass. Nearby is the Karste Valley.
