Nawi is a small settlement, 13,513 ft above sea level, to the south-eastern part of
Leh District,
Jammu and Kashmir. The meandering
Indus River that flows through Nawi adds charm to this place.
Nawi is surrounded by Nyoma in the west, Gandpa in the north, Thangra in the east and Rhongo in the south. There is a trekking route from Peldo towards Nawi. Tall, snow-capped mountains make Nawi a choice destination.
