Bisansar Lake is located in the beautiful hill station of Sonamarg in Srinagar District. Visitors can access the spot by way of Nichinai Pass which is situated at an altitude of 4084 m. This is a bewitching lake attracts every one by its natural beauty. Fishing facilities are available at Krishnasar Lake, located nearby. Tourists arrive here in large numbers, especially during summer, from April to June. Apart from bungalows and hotels, interesting hutments, operated by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation, are available for accommodation.
