Pehjan




Pehjan is a beautiful alpine pasture in Badgam District of Jammu and Kashmir.

The green slopes of Donwar, Brari Pather and Yanga Pather have to be crossed to reach Pehjan. The entire place upper to these slopes are roofed with various kinds of asters and several plants of Saussuera lappa (Kuth).

The charming Wular Lake, one of the largest fresh water lakes in Asia, and the majestic Nanga Parbat, one of the highest peaks in the world, can be viewed from Pehjan.
