Purthi is a picturesque village located 24 km from Killar in Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh. It lies, at an elevation of about 2,200 m above sea level, on the Manali - Chamba - Sach Pass trek route in Pangi Valley.

Purthi is famous for its forest nurseries. A historical Forest Rest House is set in the beautiful surroundings of the village. Chenab River flows nearby.

Nearby destinations are Traila, Sach Village, Mindhal Basan Devi Temple, Raoli, Tissa, Bharmaur, Dharamsala, Chamba, Tindi and Udaipur. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering. Base camps are available.

Nearest airport is the Gaggal Airport and the nearest railway station is at Pathankot.
