Manimahesh Temple




Manimahesh Temple is a sacred pilgrim center, situated at Bharmaur in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. This ancient shrine, built in Shikhara style, is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

A seven day fair held here before Manimahesh yatra is a major draw. Pilgrims from all over north India join here during the months of July and August for the Manimahesh yatra to the sacred lake of Manimahesh, 28 km away.

Bharmaur is 65 km from Chamba. Regular buses are available from Chamba Bus Station.
