Yellow-throated Marten is a solitary animal with longer tail and limbs. Its chest, throat, lower jaw and side of the neck are creamy white deepening to a rich canary yellow color on the side of the neck. This yellow area contrasts sharply with the black fur on the upper parts of its neck.
It feeds on insects, birds and their eggs, lizards and amphibians.
The animal can be seen in the Corbett National Park, Uttaranchal.
