Vapi



Vapi is an industrial town situated in the southern end of Gujarat’s 'Golden Corridor' - a 400 km belt of industrial estates. It is lies on the banks of Damanganga River, in Valsad District, Gujarat. Vapi is a fast growing city and is one of the largest industrial complexes in India. Vapi is about 170 km north of Mumbai and 90 km south of Surat.

Owing to the large number of industries, Vapi attracts several business travelers. Major industries in the city include chemicals, dyes, paints, paper, pharmaceuticals, plastics, rubber, textiles, woods, glass, food products and packaging. Vapi has a number of hotels and other accommodation options to the needs of tourists and business travelers.

Vapi Railway Station, on the Mumbai - Surat rail route, is just 1 km from the city center. The nearest airport is at Mumbai.
