Jambusar




Jambusar, famous for bottle production, is a taluk headquarters in Bharuch District of Gujarat. It is situated 14 km to the south of Sarod and 17 km to the north of Kerwada.

The Jambusar plant of Gujarat Glass Private Limited is the world's largest pharma amber bottles manufacturing plant at a single location. Vishwamitri River flows through the eastern part of the town. The Shri Kavi Teerth is a prime attraction in the taluk, easily accessible from here. Shri Gandhar Teerth and Shri Bharuch Teerth are also sites worth visiting.

Padra-Jambusar State Highway (SH 6) links the town with major destinations. Jambusar is about 54 km from Vadodara Airport. Nearest major railhead is Bharuch Railway Station.
