Gambhu




Gambhu Village, also spelt Gambhira or Gambhuta, is located in Patan District of Gujarat. It lies about 20 km from Mehsana. The known history of this place dates back to the ninth century. The village also houses idols of many Tirthankaras. It is believed that Acharya Shri Sheelankacharya has written the Teeka on Acharansutra at this place. The major point of attraction here is the Shri Gambhu Teerth. Shri Chanasma Teerth is about 11 km from Gambhu. Taxi services and Bus services are available from Mehsana and Ahmedabad. The nearest railway station is Mehsana Junction Railway Station.
