Sahasra Kuta Chaitalya




Sahasra Kuta Chaitalya is a famous Jain temple located at Dhanpura, a village of Arrah town in Bhojpur District. The word 'sahasra ' means "thousand'. The temple has 1000 images of Jain Arhat and the images are well-carved and fine specimens.

Sahasra Kuta Chaitalya is administrated by the Adinath Temple in Bhagalpur District. The study of Jain iconography in all its phases is possible at this one place. Thousands of pilgrims from different parts of India visit the temple with great devotion.
