Lalsong, situated 23 km to the south of
Haflong, is in the
Cachar District of
Assam. It is also well linked with
Silchar (13 km), the second largest city in the North-East. Barakhola (17 km), Narainpur (11 km) and
Udarband (15 km) are some of the better known places in its vicinity. The
National Highway 54 connecting
Dabaka and Silchar runs through this place.
