Changlang




Changlang is a district town located at the lower reaches of the Patkai Hills near the Burmese border. This small hill town is about 44 km from Margherita and 160 km from Tinsukia.

A beautiful circuit house is located on a hillock with a terrific view of the river Tirap and the valleys bellow. The bailey suspension bridge across the river is an added attraction. Changlang is an ideal place for holiday travelers for a day's stay, to breathe fresh air and explore the attractive terrain.

The nearest airport is at Dibrugarh, which is about 160 km from Changlang. The nearest railheads are at Margherita and Ledo which are at distances of 45 km and 56 km.
