Valinokkam Port in Ramanathapuram India

Valinokkam Port is 50 km from Ramanathapuram in Mudhukulathur Taluk of Ramanathapuram District . It lies in latitude 9 degree 5' N and longitude 78 degree 38' E, on the south of Ramanathapuram town.

The port is a customs port for the purpose of unloading of ships for breaking and crew baggage of such ships. Valinokkam is an open roadstead port and smaller ships anchor inside the Valinokkam Bay, about 2 km northeast of Valinokkam Point. A small cargo shed and wide stacking area are the main facilities.
