Tiro is a small village situated at the district border of
Bokaro District in
Jharkhand. It lies close to the taluk headquarters town Kasmar. The nearby places are
Manjura, Peterbar, Jaridih and
Chas.
Short excursions can be arranged to tourist destinations such as Tenughat Dam, Bokaro City Park, Tenughat Bird Sanctuary and Rajrappa Waterfalls.
Tiro can be accessed by local buses from Kasmar. Ranchi Airport and Bermo Railway Station are the nearest major airport and railway station respectively.
