Singhana, the son of
Jaitrapala, ruled the Yadava kingdom from 1210-1247. During his reign, the Yadava kingdom reached its glory. He expanded the kingdom up to Shimoga in the south and Khandesh in the north. Singhana won many victories over the rulers of Chedi, Kolhapur and Malwa. He defeated the Silahara King Bhoja in 1212, and added Kolhapur Kingdom to his empire. He extended the territory to the south of the line joining Nagpur and Broac. Singhana was succeeded by his grandson Krishna.
