Sarhul Dance

Sarhul, a significant dance form of Jharkhand, is performed by Oraons during Sarhul Festival. The performers arrange themselves in a chain, and form a circle while performing.

A distinct feature of this dance is that the musicians, with their traditional music instruments, remain inside the circle.

Male dancers wear white dhoti with red border and females wear white sari with red border.
