Saramsa

Saramsa is about 14 km from Gangtok in the East Sikkim District. The renowned Saramsa Garden is situated here. One of the biggest fairs in the state, Maghe Sankranti (Makar Sankranti) is celebrated here.

New Jalpaiguri Railway Station in West Bengal is the closest railhead, which is 125 km from Gangtok. Nearest airport is at Bagdogra, West Bengal.
