Rikhia, also known as Rikhia Dham, is a small village in
Deoghar District. The village was named Rikhia Dham after Dashnami Sanyasin, the spiritual leader of Satyananda Yoga, settled here. Subsequently, it became a holy place. The village holds a number of ancient temples which are thousands of years old. Bihar School of Yoga is also situated here.
The nearest towns are Deoghar, 6 km, and
Jasidih, 20 km away. The nearest railway station is at Jasidih and the airport is at Patna.
