Purvanchal Express

Purvanchal Express runs daily between Howrah Railway Station and Gorakhpur Junction Railway Station. (The eastern region of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are called ‘Purvanchal,’ meaning ‘eastern lands.’). Train number 5048: Gorakhpur to Howrah, leaves Gorakhpur at 10:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
