Nav Jivan Hospital is situated at Tumbagara in
Palamu District of
Jharkhand. It is about 35 km from
Daltonganj.
The hospital was started as an open clinic in 1961 by Dr Mark Kniss. Now, it is developed into a 100-bedded hospital equipped with modern medical facilities, backed by sophisticated medical equipments.
The hospital specializes in general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, community health and pediatric. It operates a tuberculosis clinic and a nursing school.
