Mahadev Sal Temple




Mahadev Sal Temple is an ancient shrine, situated near Goelkera, deep inside the Saranda Forest, in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand.

This beautiful temple is dedicated to Mahadev Sal (Lord Shiva). A large number of devotees from every nook and corner of the country visits the place, especially in the month of August, to worship and offer their respect to Lord Shiva.

Goelkera is on the Mumbai-Howrah rail route. Every passenger and express trains stop here in the month of Shravan.
