Kurchhola




Kurchhola is a beautiful hamlet in Rudraprayag District of Uttaranchal. It is situated near the state highway connecting Tilwara and Jakhni. Located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Kurchhola is noted for its scenic beauty and calm atmosphere.

Some of the nearby places are Khalyan, Paunthi, Damar, Jakholi, Jakhal and Saura. The Mandakini , an important tributary of the River Ganges, flows close to this village. The nearby tourist attractions are Chamunda Devi Temple and the temples of Rudranath.

The village can be accessed by local buses and taxies from Rudraprayag. The nearest access points are Jolly Grant Airport and Rishikesh Railway Station.
